About Team PlumbCrazy
Matt grew up on a farm helping his Dad tinker with all kinds of machines. Since his days on the farm, Matt's worked in a printed circuit board shop, done construction and plumbing, and owned a handyman/maintenance service. He currently works at Western Integrated Technologies, a hydraulic fluid power company.
Wendy also grew up on a farm, but wasn't much of a tinkerer. After getting her degree in communications, Wendy worked for several different radio stations as a Traffic Manager, Business Manager, and Controller. She currently works at Hearst Television as a Regional Accounting Manager. With all of the accounting work she's done, Wendy's family likes to call her the Bean Queen.

We went to our first live BattleBots event as spectators in November 2001. Although Matt immediately began designing a robot, wedding plans in April 2002 delayed the build. This delay actually worked in our favor. The original design, Badger, would not have been very competitive, and required a radical redesign....leading to our first robot Sewer Snake.
